My name is Leonhard, I’m an enthusiastic fishing guide and photographer in Italy. My passion for fly fishing started when I was ten years old and since then I pushed myself every year to my limits through learning by doing. I tried many different techniques, worked on many fly patterns and studied water conditions and how to work with them. I decided to put my main focus on the marble trout because it’s the prehistoric fish of the alps. Sometimes difficult to catch but that’s exactly the reason why I love it most of all fish. Regarding this the saying “hard work pays off” is even more accurate. I decided to make my hobby my profession to give other people the feelings of happiness that I still have while fishing since my childhood!
